The Carpenter's Cottage Just minutes from the hustle and bustle of San Antonio, guests unwind in this peaceful setting where many great restaurants and shops are an easy walk from the Cottage. The Cottage is recognized as one of Boerne's historic homes. This hideaway, with its fashionable decor, is one of the best kept secrets among lodges in Central Texas and the Southwest. Guests enjoy a Continental breakfast at one of Texas' great bakeries, the Bear Moon Bakery near the Cottage at 401 South Main Street. On November 4, the Carpenter's Cottage was a selected stop on the Boerne Convention & Visitors Bureau's Bed & Breakfast Tour. The menu for the Tour was artichoke dip with olive bread, sushi, and cheese trays from Boerne's Cypress Grille.
